I am 22 years old serving in the United States Navy aboard USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69). After almost five years service, I had failed three Physical Fitness Assessments and was notified I would be released from my contract six months early. Upon uprooting my life, spending my 40+ seperation leave days planning my transition into civilian life, I was told it was all for nothing. After relocating a majority of my belongings to my homestate of Arizona, after donating my remaining belongings including uniforms, I was informed that the Commanding Officer had changed his mind. This is a blog depicting the last four or so months in which I kept a journal of my emotional rollercoastser. Hopefully all will end well, as my fate is still undecided. I am glad to have you along to share my story and hope to provide insight into the vicious world of the United States Navy, USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) and the truth about the treatment of servicemen and women. Thank you for listening.
